About the Author
Robert Maier has worked for forty years in audio and video production.  He has taught video and audio production at Gaston College for more than nine years. Mr. Maier’s award-winning programs have aired on ABC, PBS and many cable networks.  He was a production manager on several feature films with New Line Cinema, including HAIRSPRAY.  He was  Director of Production Services and Senior Producer at WTVI-TV  PBS Charlotte for nine years.  Mr. Maier has a BA in English from The American University and an MA in Technical Communications from East Carolina University.
