Divine as a Boy Scout from Towson, MD c. 1959

Divine (Harris Glen Milstead) grew up in Towson, Maryland about a mile north of the Baltimore City line. I used to deliver the Baltimore News-American to the Milstead family’s home two blocks away from my house. F.Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald lived for a while down the street from him in the early 1930s, until Zelda burned their home down. It was a very historic neighborhood. Divine is the hefty boy standing next to the scout leader on the left.
